My mother, Conchita Maria, passed away in October, 2025. And while her genuine spark, love for life and family will be missed, I am proud to have lived up to her expectations and become the writer she always told me I could be.

I have enjoyed reading and watching science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories since I was a boy. Obsessed with monsters, aliens, and the supernatural, listening to and telling extraordinary stories was a favorite way to pass the time. After playing football and basketball, surviving college with a degree in journalism, and finally taking that creative writing class my senior year, I decided to become a fiction writer. Worst decision of my life. 🤣
By day, I am a writing and literature instructor at an awesome high school and community college in Tucson (USA). 🥵 I also have a wonderful wife and two amazing kids who have grown into excellent people.
